2007 VINTAGE

PRODUCTION: Produced from vines planted on the slopes of the coastal ranges. These soils are old and have a high mineral content. The grapes were de-stemmed and whole bunch pressed. After pressing, the red grape must was given an overnight cold maceration in order to extract colour. The juice was then bled off the skins and fermented in stainless steel between 15 and 18ºC using selected yeast strains.

WINEMAKERS TASTING NOTES:
Vibrant pink/red in colour.  On the nose, the wine has intense aromas of cherries with notes of strawberries.  On the palate, the wine is fresh with a crisp acidity and red berry flavours.

PRESS COMMENTS:
An intense fruit finish, good length and a nice rounded, fresh palate marks this one out.
