2006 VINTAGE
PRODUCTION:
Produced from vineyards located on the coastal ranges of the valley.
Generally older with a high mineral content, the soils are sandy
clay with quartz. Drip irrigation employed. The grapes were
destemmed and whole bunch pressed. A short skin contact prior to
pressing. The clarified juice was fermented in stainless steel
using selected yeast strains at temperatures between 13 and 15șC.
The wine spent 2 months on fine lees prior to bottling.
WINEMAKERS TASTING NOTE:
Bright yellow in colour with green notes. On the nose, the
wine has intense tropical fruit aromas with some mineral notes.
On the palate, the wine presents citrus fruits with some floral
notes. Lighter bodied in style with a crisp acidity.
