September 2007 - New Wine for the Equality Range

A new wine has been added to The Equality range - Equality Casa del Vino Rosé 2006. 

The wine is produced from a blend of Mission and Cabernet Sauvignon.

   
Mission (also known as Pais) is a widely grown red grape variety in Chile but rarely seen outside the country. 

It is often regarded as merely a table wine grape, but under the expertise of winemaking consultant Peter Mackey at COVICA, the wines from this variety produce fruit laden, easy drinking and lighter style red wines, ideal for a light meal or drinking on its own.
   
The Casa del Vino range is produced primarily for the on trade.  Its approximate retail price is £4.99 and the wine is now available in selected outlets.
