A SECOND CONSECUTIVE WIN FOR EQUALITY WINES IN THE ANNUAL FAIRTRADE WINE COMPETITION

The Chilean brand Equality by Las Lomas has shown its winning credentials once again by scooping an award for the second year running in the Fairtrade Wine Competition.

The winners were announced at the Fairtrade Trade & Press Wine Tasting on 12th November.  Once again, Equality Sauvignon Blanc proved to be a winner, gaining the award for Best Value Chilean White - the only award for a Chilean wine in this year’s competition, which was judged in September.

Receiving the award certificate, Managing Director of Equality Wines Ltd, Nicholas Ingham commented: “we take real pride in producing quality wines for people to enjoy and support Fairtrade in buying them.  We are so proud that our wines have won several awards since being launched in the UK in 2006.  I am particularly pleased to receive this award which shows our wine to represent great quality and value.”

The Sauvignon Blanc costs around £5.99 and is available in Threshers/Wine Rack, selected Asda stores, Spar stores in the Midlands and Tanners Wines.
